The Snifflelufagus is still with us. Sadly, I think that the combination of the snuffly nose and teething (I think teething, anyway - I can't figure out what else to attribute the random shrieks of pain) has turned Madeline into a chronic non-napper over the last couple of days. And a poor night-time sleeper. Boo. I hope that she gets a break real soon. I must say that the quality of my day with her would greatly improve if I could wipe her nose without her crying and turning her head away madly.
I re-introduced her to barley cereal maybe two weeks ago, and I'm wondering if maybe that was the culprit.
Someone told me that teething is sometimes accompanied by a stuffy nose...?
Hope Madeline feels better soon.

She's probably not napping because she misses her favorite auntie......

My MIL suggested the same thing, Helen. It's hard sometimes to check for about-to-arrive teeth! Anyway, she's noticeably better today *fingers crossed*
Actually, Julie, another theory is that you left a bunch of cat hair here after your visit. She was sniffly last Sunday, and you were still here!

i can not figure out whether or not my 9 month old has a cold, has allergies or just teething. i find it so frustrating cause no doctor seems to know. my son has had a stuffy/runny nose for over a month and one doctor told me it was a cold and another told me that it was teething but no one can be sure its either and no one knows if it is allergies. my son is in pretty good spirits all the time, it doesn't seem to be affecting him but while he's sleeping he is so restless. i just hate hearing him breath so heavily. anyway why cant doctors just get this one straight.
