Madeline's been trying to roll over (back to front) these past few days, and it's really funny to watch! She gets so frustrated with her lack of progress - she'll have a little pouty expression and be trying desparately to swing a little leg over to get onto a side! Today I had a heart and helped her onto her side, thinking that she'd never make it onto her tummy, but lo and behold, she did - and managed to dislodge the arm that was then trapped underneath her body! She did this at during a little get-together with the other moms and babes in our StrollerFit class, and held her head up to give us all a smile after ... And yesterday afternoon, she actually took about three little supported steps, but I think it was accidental that she even moved her legs when I was holding her up while she supported herself. All of her little changes are exciting, but they're also frightening - soon she's going to be mobile and I'm sure our home has all sorts of enticing hazards that Chris and I haven't thought of!
