I used to enjoy going to Dairy Queen every couple of weeks or so for a Blizzard treat. Both Chris and I are partial to the Oreo cookie flavoured ones (me the mint Oreo in particular). Except now, thanks to the DQ tv commercial featuring a very pregnant woman and her male partner in line for the drive-thru, I feel like I'd be a total stereotype if I went out for a Blizzard :(
You are very lucky. The only commercials that have pregnant women here are ones where the father stops somewhere to get something (i.e. a tax refund check or a roast beef sandwich from Arby's) as the laboring mother sits in the passenger seat angrily lamaze breathing.
Though the other day I did have a laugh (at the expense of my ever expanding belly), I went to a restaurant in my area called Primanti's. They are a sandwich shop that sells awesome Pittsburgh sandwiches. Apparently at 3:30 in the afternoon, pregnant women flock there in mass. It was funny to look around at all the other pregnant mothers fiending for Primanti's.
