Madeline is the lucky recipient of two recent Costco purchases. First, a lovely package of Spinach Nuggets. I am hopeful that they might persuade her to eat a green veggie as her two fave green foods, peas and edamame, aren't really considered vegetables in the Canada Food Guide. The second purchase was a case of the Kirkland disposable diapers. She doesn't go through paper diapers very quickly as she only wears then overnight and for long errands, but I've been curious about them. One of my girlfriends gave them a thumbs-up, so we're giving them a whirl. My first impression is that they're like Huggies, except they have the "gigglastic" waistband and really good gusset, whereas Huggies removed one of their leak guard barriers in the gusset when they upgraded the waistband. I have 158 left in the case to use, so time will tell if we buy them again. The little zebra on them is cute, though :)
Oh PLEASE let me know how the spinach nuggets go. The kidlet won't eat any veggies unless they're pureed and therefore 'hidden'. As for the Kirkland diapers, I just tried a few samples and I found they got hard lumps in them... I wish Costco hadn't gotten rid of the Pampers - they're my faves. Huggies up until she was about a year, now Pampers all the way!

I think I understand what you mean by lumps in the diapers, now. They absorb kind of funny ...
Someone told me that Pampers had better stretch than Huggies - I haven't tried because the scent bugs me!

The spinach nuggets totally worked on Tod-lar -- for a while. Then he caught on.
I only use Pampers. They do have a strong smell -- but they RARELY leak. At least the "waddle free cruisers" don't. The Baby Drys are horrible.

My g/f told me about these veggie patties that she made and her daughter use to eat them, I think it was just simple like flour, water and shredded veggies... I'd have to find out. Good luck!

I am dying to try home-made veggie burgers for M! Thanks for reminding me, Jaime!
