Phew - done with my own projects!
Finished up my final baby sewing project today - one of those nursing pillows! I can't seem to find an authentic Boppy here in Canada, and I'm not sure how the ones by Jolly Jumper compare (and they're $40!), so I made my own. Materials were less than $15, so I'm not out much if the baby decided that it's the most uncomfortable thing ever!

The fabric I used is kind of cool:

I'm tempted to make another cover in a leoppard-print velour, if I ever see something like that at Fabricland.
I had three sewing projects, didn't I? I've posted about the sleep sack, and here's what I'm calling the last project. The second project is a pouch-style baby sling, which I won't post photos of until I have a baby to stick in it and less of a tummy. It doesn't look right with one-day-short-of-40-weeks tummy :)
Ok, I love that pillow and design on it!!! Can I put my order in now?? I sometimes used it nursing or sitting Nikyla in it when she was first starting to sit and still now when we are just relaxing she lays in the middle of it for her pillow. So I did get lots of use out of it!

You're so crafty! It looks neat. I love the star theme. Tell us how to make one.

It's so cute! The baby will love sitting up in the middle - well, okay, the baby WILL sit up in the middle (who knows what they're really thinking).

A Boppy Copy! I wish I had thought of that. I had a Boppy. I loved that thing. In the middle of the night while I brfed baby I feared that due to my new mommy sleep deprivation that I'd nod off and let my little Sam roll off my lap when he fell asleep. The Boppy kept him in place, and gave me peace. It also freed up my arms when I needed to read and he used it as a back rest when he got older. When he wasn't using it, his big brother kept stealing it and napping. Who knew that a fabric "C" would be so needed and useful?
