We are once again eating a lot of chicken. The chicken we can buy here in Thailand is fair quality, as is the pork, but I can't say as much for other proteins. Anyway, it's not hard to fall into some sort of chicken breast rut.
Todays's remedy for the chicken breast blues: a homemade sauce made from chopped dried cranberries, some diced onions, a little celery, and about a 1/2 of cabernet sauvignon. The cabernet was actually my third choice, but my pantry was out of chicken stock (first choice), and we don't have any white wine hanging around (second choice).
Unrelated observation: I have been enjoying grocery shopping for the last six weeks at least 2/3 of the people I am competing with for Cheerios, turkey deli meat, etc. were on vacation. They're back now. Ugh! I will have to start hoarding food again!
