For a Good Cause
I know that over on the left there's a note that my next project is supposed to be the Roman shade for our very bare dining room window, but I've been cheating! A little bit of holiday spirit hit me, and I've spent a few evenings making some of my tried-and-true marblized Christmas ornaments. I've given these as hostess gifts more than anything else, and now I've written them up on my projects page over here.

Hi Laura -- really enjoy your blog. The marbellized ornaments are so attractive. I better get busy! Thanks for sharing.

Hi laurla....
I used your idea for the ornaments, but i used the glass globes. I thought I was doing something wrong, because it had so much paint left over inside!!!!I guess that I am normal after all. I just poured it out into a plastic cup. Another good idea is to fill the glass globes with stuff. Like, tinsel... tiny miniatures, candy..... mmmmmm. candy.
ps. i dyed part of my hair purple by mistake. fun.

I love it. What a great idea! I always get boggled when it comes to hostess gifts. I never know what to give.

Hi Laura,
I am trying to find these clear plastic ornaments in the different sizes that you used in the ornament project. I have been searching and searching the Internet to find them but I am not finding them. Any help would be greatly appreciated? I want to start this now and get a bunch done for this 2004 Christmas.
